New Delhi: Sand mafia goons on Monday afternoon attacked a Mines Department team and brutally thrashed a female mining inspector on the banks of the Sone river in Bihar’s Patna district, according to police. The mining team discovered that the sand mafia was overloading trucks near Parev village, so a team from the Mines Department and Bihta police went there to inspect.
